Debenture Trust Company Limited (DT) is a comprehensive Management, Financial and Risk Solutions Company. It was incorporated in Ghana under the Companies Code 1963 (Act 179). Debenture Trust was set up to assist organizations in the critical areas of their operations and to provide quality advice and Risk solutions to its clients. We develop resources, pursue investments and initiate new business frame works to keep up with the ever changing and challenging global business environment.
DT has in recent times provided advisory and support services to investors and local enterprises who have taken up divested government shares as result of the privatization of state owned industries and is proud to be part of the new wave of well managed enterprises emanating therefrom.
DT is staffed by highly qualified and enthusiastic professionals with extensive experience and proven track record in their areas of specialisation in Ghana and Abroad. Together, they have a vast knowledge of the dynamics of financial markets (in Advanced and Emerging Economies), Corporate restructuring techniques, strategic analysis and public policy analysis.

Management Team

The Board of Directors, headed by the chairman is responsible for policy and composes men and women of impeccable character and integrity. The Management Committee is responsible for the overall management of the company.

Management Team

George is the Managing Director of XDS Data (Ghana) as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Debenture Trust Company Limited, one of the new innovative up and coming financial services companies registered in Ghana.

George has over 20 years experience in Banking in the United States and Africa. He was the Area Manager For Treasury Operations At Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana responsible for the West Africa region from 1999 through 2003. In this capacity, he restructured all the treasury operations units in the region. He was offered a position in Singapore as the Head of Derivative Operations responsible for Standard Chartered Bank units for all the countries east of Bangladesh. He served on the team to implement the Bank of Ghana payment systems, a clearing system now in operation among the Banks. He was a member of the project team responsible for coming up with a framework for the implementation of the West African Payment Systems. In the US, George worked severally in New York at Rabobank International, Rabo Capital Services, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Bank, all in the capacity of Assistant Vice President and Manager of Derivatives, and Union Bank of Switzerland and Republic National Bank, where he held senior staff positions in derivatives, capital market operations and treasury management in the capacity of Operations Officer and Assistant Treasurer respectively.

A product of the State University of New York Maritime College, a military institution in New York, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in management, George holds several professional certificates in Capital Markets, Derivatives, Management, and also a

Resource Development and Training

A Barrister-at-Law and Management Consultant with eighteen years post graduate experience as an Administrator, Industrial Relations Expert, Compensations and benefits expert, Legal Advisor and Head of Human Resources. He holds an MBA (Specialty-HR) and a post graduate diploma in Public Administration in addition to a first degree in Sociology. He is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana, and the Ghana Institute of Management. He is also a member of the Ghana Bar Association as well as an Advisory Committee member of the Ghana Employers Association. He is certified as a job evaluator by Hay Management Consultants, United Kingdom. He brings to the team un-parallel experience and the application of cutting edge strategies and professionalism and a unique insight into management problems of growing business organizations

image Thomas is responsible for operational and administrative functions of the company. His specialties include Research; Report writing, financial analysis, Business Development and Marketing. Thomas has directly been involved in restructuring exercise of some small and medium scale companies. He is also a data analyst in XDSdata, the first credit referencing bureau in Ghana where he manages all Data Analysis and Processing Operations of the company

Prior to joining the company, Thomas was the assistant operations manager for the Import Section of Olam Ghana Ltd where he was responsible for the restructuring of the Import Department of the company through operational reforms, institution of control mechanisms, legal recovery, audit functions and process re-engineering.

He was the Human Resource and Administrative officer of The Capital Group, a Debt Management and Recovery company where he was charged with the recruitment, supervision and training of staff for debt recovery and other financial consultancy services of the company.

He has BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon and also holds certificate in Financial Planning.
